Rules for the Protection of Personal Information of Children

Bear Reader places great importance on the protection of children while reading. In order to protect the personal information security of children and provide more high-quality content suitable for children to watch, the "Children's Personal Information Protection Rules" (hereinafter referred to as "these rules") have been formulated.

This rule aims to explain to guardians (hereinafter referred to as "you") and children how we collect, use, store, and process personal information of underage users. If you are the guardian of underage users, please carefully read and fully understand these rules, and decide whether to agree to these rules and whether to agree to the use of our products and services by children under your guardianship.

1、Protecting Children's Personal Information Security

The children referred to in these rules refer to minors under the age of 14. Children should obtain the consent of their guardians before using our products and services. If your child is a child under the age of 14, they need to obtain your consent and use the Bear Reader mode under your supervision and guidance; If you do not agree with him/her using the normal reading mode of Bear Reader, please set him/her to "Youth Mode".

2、Rules for collecting and using children's personal information

1.We will strictly fulfill the obligations and responsibilities of protecting children's personal information stipulated by law, and collect and use children's personal information in accordance with the principles of legitimate necessity, informed consent, clear purpose, safety guarantee, and lawful use. We will not collect children's personal information that is unrelated to the products and/or services we provide, and will not violate legal regulations and our agreement with you to collect and use children's personal information.

2.When you activate youth mode, you need to bind your Mobile phone number (*); When turning off youth mode, you need to provide your phone number (*) and verification code (*). This platform will adopt professional encrypted storage and transmission methods to ensure the security of your information and will not collect, use, disclose or disclose it without authorization.

3.Please understand and agree that in order to provide you with our services, we will require you to provide the necessary personal information for the corresponding services. If you do not provide personal information, we may not be able to provide you with our products or services. We will clearly state to you the purpose, method, and scope of collecting and using personal information in the "Personal Information Protection and Privacy Policy Agreement for Bear Reader Users", and collect information after obtaining your consent. Please refer to it carefully。

3、Rules for protecting and storing personal information of children

1.Except as required by laws and regulations, this platform will not disclose or disclose children's personal information to third parties without your permission. This platform adopts professional encrypted storage and transmission methods for relevant information to ensure the security of children's personal information.

2.This platform will use various security technologies and procedures to establish a comprehensive management system to protect children's personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

3.We comply with laws and regulations, and the personal information of children collected during operations within the People's Republic of China is stored within the territory of China.

4.Generally speaking, we only retain personal information of children for the necessary period (not less than 6 months) for the purpose of providing our products and services, unless there are mandatory retention requirements by law. After the retention period is exceeded, we will delete the personal information of the child or anonymize it according to legal requirements.

5.If Bear Reader decides to stop operating, we will delete the personal information of the children we already hold and stop collecting personal information of the children after the relevant services stop operating. We will send you a notice of cessation of operations in the form of a notice.

4、Rules for sharing, transferring, and publicly disclosing children's personal information

1.Without your consent, Zhongruan Zhikong will not share, transfer, or publicly disclose children's personal information to any company, organization, or individual outside of Zhongruan Zhikong, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations. The collected information will not be used for any commercial purposes and will not be shared with third parties based on commercial purposes.

5、Rules for correcting and deleting children's personal information

1.If you find any errors in the personal information of children that we collect, store, use, or disclose, you have the right to request us to make corrections.

2.In the following situations, you can request us to delete children's personal information:

2.1.We collect, store, use, transfer, or disclose personal information of children in violation of laws, administrative regulations, or mutual agreements;

2.2.Collecting, storing, using, transferring, or disclosing personal information of children beyond the scope of the purpose or within the necessary period;

2.3.You have withdrawn your consent and we are still collecting and using it;

2.4.Children or their guardians terminate the use of products or services through cancellation or other means.

7、Specification

1.The "Children's Personal Information Protection Rules" only apply to the "Youth Mode" that mainly provides exclusive content to children. The "Personal Information Protection and Privacy Policy Agreement for Bear Reader Users" (hereinafter referred to as the "Privacy Policy") displays the general practices for Bear Reader to collect, use, process, and protect personal information. These rules are a part of the "Privacy Policy".

2.If there is any inconsistency between this rule and the main text of the Privacy Policy regarding the protection of personal information for children, this rule shall prevail; If not mentioned in this rule, the Privacy Policy shall apply/refer to the actual situation of the product. Unless otherwise specified in these rules, the meanings of words referred to in these rules are consistent with those in the main text of the Privacy Policy.
